Laptop Scheme FAQS
1. Who is eligible for the laptop scheme?
- The scheme is applicable only for students enrolling in any of the following 2-year or higher career programs:
- ADVFX Plus
- AD3D Edge Plus
- APDMC Plus
- ADIDG Plus
- IPVAD Plus
2. What are the payment terms to avail the laptop scheme?
- The full course fee must be paid within 180 days (6 months) from the date of the first payment.
- The scheme is valid only if the full fee is paid within the stipulated 180-day period.
- Any delay in fee payment beyond 180 days will result in the cancellation of the laptop benefit.
3. What are the specifications of the complimentary laptop?
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3050 – 4GB
- RAM: 16GB DDR5
- Storage: 512GB PCIe SSD
- Display: 15” Full HD (144Hz Refresh Rate)
- Operating System: Windows 11
- Software: Microsoft Office 2021 (Home & Student Edition)
- Webcam: 720p HD Camera
4. How and when will the laptop be delivered?
- The laptop will be provided by the center itself. No cash alternative, vouchers, or substitutions will be given.
- Delivery will occur within 3 to 4 weeks after full fee payment is completed and verified by the Head Office.
- Students must ensure that all admission documents, ID proofs, and payment formalities are completed to qualify for dispatch.
5. Are there any terms or conditions regarding the laptop?
- The laptop is a complimentary benefit, and MAAC Guwahati or the center holds no warranty or service responsibility.
- Any warranty claims must be handled directly by the student with the brand’s service provider.
- Students must check the laptop for physical damage at the time of handover. No damage claims will be accepted post-handover.
6. What if I already own a laptop?
- Still opt for the Laptop Scheme by fulfilling the payment conditions.
- Or select a Regular Fee Plan without the laptop benefit (details available at the center).
7. Is there a loan or finance option for the course fee?
- tudents may independently apply for an education loan or arrange personal financing.
- The MAAC Guwahati center is not responsible for arranging or coordinating any loans.
- Any delay in loan disbursal causing fee payment to exceed 180 days will disqualify the student from the scheme.
8. What are the general terms and conditions of the laptop scheme?
- The offer is non-transferable and valid only for the enrolled student during the scheme period.
- If a student discontinues, withdraws, or cancels the course, the laptop benefit will be cancelled, regardless of payments made.
- The scheme is valid for a limited period as per company policy and can be withdrawn without prior notice.
- Terms of the laptop scheme are subject to change at the discretion of the company/center.
- Students should keep all payment receipts and communication safely for reference.
- In case of any dispute, the decision of the center management will be final and binding.
